🚧 Cedar Hedge Road closed near Laurier

The field gun beside the cenotaph in Victoria Park isn’t Canadian. It’s a German 77 mm gun captured by the 3rd Canadian Infantry Battalion on Sept. 27, 1918, during Canada’s Hundred Days, and allotted to Milton as a war trophy.

BR Equestrian on Guelph Line has started an after-school pony social for kids ages 6 to 16. Riders get time with the ponies, plus horsemanship and crafts, in an inclusive group that runs in three 8-week sessions through the spring. A quiet place where kids and animals look out for each other.
And a quick contest update: our Spookiest House plaque is headed to Sunnyvale Crescent, and the $100 Grant’s Gourmet gift card has been delivered to the draw winner. Thanks again to everyone who voted!
That’s it for today, Milton. Have a meaningful Remembrance weekend, enjoy the hockey, and we’ll see you Monday!
