Need a route for Halloween night? Milton mom Victoria Ashley has mapped close to 50 decorated homes across town, and she says more people are decorating this year than ever. Her tip: pile the kids in the car and drive around, since it costs nothing but gas. She has a soft spot for the house on Sunnyvale Crescent, saying “without question, the best one ever is still on Sunnyvale,” and that home raises money for charity, too.

🏒 Menace win big in Leamington
Thursday, Oct. 29

The Menace went into Leamington and snapped the Flyers' six-game win streak with a 4-1 win. Don William Bristol scored twice, Cam Lang and Chris Soares added the others, and Austin McKillop made 38 saves. Milton is now 15-3-1-0. Next home game: Friday, Nov. 6 at 7:30pm.

🔥 THG's Hot Chicken is coming to Milton
Milton Crossroads plaza, 1216 Steeles Ave. E.

THG's Hot Chicken lists Milton as “coming soon” on its site, making it the chain's first spot in town. It joins Wingstop, WAXON Laser + Waxbar and others at the new building on Steeles. No opening date yet.

🐈 Home safe

An indoor cat slipped out this week and had his family worried. He turned up safe and sound, tucked under a BBQ cover in a neighbour's yard, after someone reported a bit of his fur on a fence. Small stuff, big hearts.
